Mark your calendars! The 29th annual Pumpkin Festival at Sinkland Farms begins the weekend of September 26th and runs for six consecutive weekends until November 1st.
The sprawling pumpkin patch is, of course, the main attraction, but that's just the beginning. Admission to the festival also includes a hayride, access to the corn maze, activities for the little ones, and so much more.
Each of the six weekends offers something different, from live music entertainment to zip lines and giant slides, farm animals, horseback and pony rides, and some of the area's best local arts and crafts vendors.
While you're at the farm, don't forget to pick up pumpkins, squash and gourds of all sizes and colors, corn shocks, and straw bales for all your autumn decor.
And speaking of food, there will be loads of food trucks and vendors selling barbecue, hand-dipped ice cream, kettle corn, and all kinds of snacks. Plus, adults can sample local wine and beer.
So whether you're looking for a beautiful outdoor activity to enjoy this season or are starting a new fall tradition with your family and friends, you'll be glad you made Sinkland Farms a part of your year.
Please note: In accordance with the CDC, state, and local guidelines, Sinkland Farms will be implementing many COVID-related safety precautions. Visit the website for more information.
