Best Pumpkin Patches and Fall Activities in Virginia
What are some of the other top pumpkin patches in Virginia?
While Sinkland Farms has been voted as the best pumpkin patch in our state, we have many others that are worth visiting. One of which is Hickory Ridge Farm, an 18-acre family-owned farm located in Chesapeake Virginia. Not only can you pick your own pumpkin at the farm during the fall festival season, but the kids will love the bounce houses, hayrides, the barnyard animals, pony rides, and so much more. Best of all, the prices are reasonable, making it a great farm for fun, family-friendly entertainment. If you like Sinkland for its venue, then you’ll also love Sneads Farm in Fredericksburg, Virginia. In addition to all the fun fall activities that include hayrides, pumpkin patches, animal petting, and more, the farm is also a great venue for weddings as well as other events. Other incredible pumpkin patches include Historic Greenbrier Farms, Hanover Vegetable Farm, and Wayside Farm. You’ll absolutely love them all.
Besides pumpkin patches, what are other fun fall activities in Virginia?
We love fall in Virginia because it’s one of the most festive seasons of the year. There are so many activities that are not only fun, but are also family friendly. While we enjoy the fall festivals that include pumpkin patches, hayrides, corn mazes, and more, we also love going to the Virginia State Fair at the Meadow Event Park in Caroline County. The event will be held at the end of September, and there is always something new to see and do at the fair. The kids love the rides, games, and animals. And best of all, they love trying all the snacks and food at the fair. They never get tired of eating funnel cake and the ice cream as well as other sweet treats. My personal favorite is the live concert featuring a new artist every day. The fair has something for everyone in the family.
