It’s here you’ll find Pupatella, an amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurant with authentic Neapolitan pizza. In fact, many consider this joint to serve the best pizza in the entire state. Whether you tend to agree or not, you most certainly won’t be disappointed that you tried these pies.

Pupatella is located at 5104 Wilson Blvd Arlington, VA 22205.
This is the original location, although you can also find Pupatella's in Richmond at 1 N Morris St.
As soon as you step inside, you'll see what makes this pizza joint stand apart from the rest: the bright red wood-burning pizza oven imported from Naples.
These special oven bricks were crafted using ash from Mt. Vesuvius. This allows for incredible heat retention, which translates into an incredibly hot oven. Most pizzas cook in just one minute.

The dough is exceptional and features only four ingredients: flour, fresh yeast, sea salt, water. The flour is also imported from Italy to ensure authenticity.
