While all of Virginia’s farmers markets offer an impressive array of local goods and products, there’s one in northern Virginia that belongs at the very top of your must-see list. The Old Town Farmers’ Market is a year-round affair that takes over the historic district of Alexandria, Virginia. It not only offers local produce and seasonal treats, but also just happens to be the oldest continuously-run market in the U.S.
So whether you’re shopping for weekly produce or are curious to see this historic square in Alexandria, you’ll be glad you stopped by the Old town Farmers’ Market. The market is held at 301 King Street, Alexandria VA each Saturday from 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Have you visited the market before? We’d love to hear about your experience!
