When it comes to Virginia's Main Streets, it doesn't get much more festive than the one that makes its way through Lexington, Virginia. Starting in November, this small town becomes adorned with holiday decor.

Each year, Lexington celebrates the holiday season in a big way. It all starts with the Lexington Candlelight Processional and Tree Lighting Ceremony, scheduled for November 29th, 2019.
Starting at 5:15 p.m. candles and songbooks will be distributed to anyone who wishes to participate in this beloved event, which will be celebrating its 24th year.
The best part of all is the opportunity to join Santa and Mrs. Claus as they ride a horse-drawn carriage down Main Street.
This special processional is open to all and free of charge. You can also join in on the annual Christmas Parade, scheduled for December 6th, which will include floats, fire trucks, and festive live performances.
After a full day of shopping, exploring, and celebrating the spirit of the holidays, you can stop by a local restaurant for a memorable meal or festive holiday drink. What could be better than that?
