Both ghost hunters and history buffs alike will enjoy exploring some of the state’s most storied places, from the oldest restaurants to the most haunted battlefields in Virginia. Today’s destination is one that belongs in the latter category. Sailor’s Creek Battlefield State Park was the site of one of the Civil War’s most notorious battles. It’s a fascinating place to learn about the war, and it also happens to be incredibly haunted.
