This Breathtaking Hike In Virginia Leads You Through A Tunnel Of Fall Leaves
With the magic of fall right at our doorstep, we feel so lucky to live in a state like Virginia where the foliage is always magnificent. This time of year, we love featuring our gorgeous state parks which offer some of the most spectacular perspectives of this natural phenomenon. One prime example is Leesylvania State Park. Situated on the shores of the Potomac River, this area offers wooded trails and shoreline excursions to bring you the best of the season.
Let’s take a peek at what’s in store:
Tucked away along the scenic river in the southeast portion of Prince William County, you’ll find Leesylvania State Park. The exact location of the park is 2001 Daniel K. Ludwig Dr., Woodbridge, VA 22191
This state park has an impressive history, as it was the home of Native Americans for thousands of years. Captain John Smith also visited this site as early as 1608.
Whether you're interested in the area's history, gorgeous scenery, or transformation of color, a visit to Leesylvania in autumn will be a positively majestic experience.
