History is all around us here in Virginia. It’s nearly impossible to travel anywhere without stumbling upon some sort of landmark. Visit the historic Old Town Alexandria and you’ll find a prime example: Christ Church. This place of worship was constructed in 1773, three years prior to the Declaration of Independence. The church still functions today and has been wonderfully restored. Whether you visit for a service or tour the grounds, you’ll be fascinated by this impressive landmark.
