Deemed "postcard-perfect," the town of Middleburg has utterly charmed visitors since its formation in 1787.
Middleburg is known for its populations of horses and dogs, and for its tradition of fox hunting. The town kicks off the holiday season with a festive parade that includes many of these creatures.
The town has over 160 buildings that are designated on the National Register of Historic Places. What better time to explore some of these sites than during the holidays?
There are plenty of decorations to be admired outside, too. Whether you've got an eye for simple string lights or decked out trees, you'll love just how much effort has gone into the festive decor.
