This Lavender Farm Is Located On A Virginia Winery And The Combination Is Magical
There are few things more relaxing than a day spent on a scenic winery. That’s especially true when the property happens to feature a fragrant lavender farm. The combination of authentic Virginia-grown wine and the soothing fragrance of lavender might make you feel as though you’ve arrived in the south of France. Here’s more on the lovely Beliveau Farm in the Catawba Valley.
Formerly known as Maison Beliveau, Beliveau Farm is a little piece of heaven in southern Virginia. The property features a gorgeous winery, bed & breakfast, lavender farm, and even hiking trails to enjoy.
Though this winery is just twelve miles from downtown Blacksburg, you'll feel as though you've arrived to another world altogether. The atmosphere of gentle rolling hills and blooming lavender in the spring and summer are positively enchanting.
The 165-acre land lends itself to impressive conditions for growing grapes. The first vines were planted in 2009, and the winery officially opened in May of 2012.
If you're looking to plan a memorable getaway, you can opt to stay the night or all weekend at the cozy bed and breakfast. Your stay even includes a complimentary wine tasting. How wonderful is that?
No matter how long you're staying, one thing is certain: you'll want to spend time admiring the lavender farm. There's an annual lavender festival held here each summer.
