Back of the Dragon, also known as Route 16, is the only designated motorcycle route in Virginia. In fact, there's an entire shop dedicated to providing tourists information about this incredible landmark.

This harrowing drive crosses over three mountain ranges and features countless twists and turns, some of which are hairpin turns as you can see from the photograph below.

Back of the Dragon happens to be located near Hungry Mother State Park, a beautiful landmark for hikers and outdoor explorers.

It's best to take this route cautiously, and you'll notice that the speed limit is 15 M.P.H. during the windiest bits.
