The Treetop Trail That Will Show You A Side Of Vermont You've Never Seen Before
Once summer arrives in Vermont, normally snow-covered ski resorts transform into warm weather playgrounds. From alpine slides to zip lining, there is plenty to keep you occupied. But if you are looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the Green Mountain State from a different point of view take this treetop adventure. This trail through the forest canopy will let you feel like a monkey scampering around above the ground, and it’s incredible.
Stowe Mountain Resort is home to the TreeTop Adventure, an amazing aerial challenge that takes you off the ground and into the mountainside canopy.
Bring the whole family to experience the incredible ropes courses. Participants must be at least 7-years-old to be harnessed in and climb the courses.
The aerial course has different challenge levels, so novice adventurers are welcome. There are six courses to choose from with varying challenge levels.
Children ages 7-12 will make their way through the treetops on the Kids Explorer Yellow Course.
Adults can journey through four different courses which increase in height and challenge levels designated by the various colors Green, Blue, Red, and Black.
Of course it's always more fun to take this kind of a trip with a friend, so bring along a climbing partner with you.
