Here you’ll discover an amazing view which you can enjoy from the highest point in Vermont. Taking a ride on the Toll Road in Stowe, VT is a bucket list item for sure!
If you would like to climb up to the top of Mt. Mansfield but you don't want to climb the WHOLE mountain, you can take a trip up in the comfort of your own car.
The ride will take about 20 minutes and has several scenic lookouts along the way.
Once you're almost at the top you can park at the visitors center. This is the "nose" section of the famous facial profile along Mt. Mansfield.
A short and easy hike later and you'll be at the highest point in all of Vermont.
That's 4,393 feet above sea level!
And the heart-pounding drive through the zig-zaggy road was all worth it.
You’ll see breathtaking views of Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks, the White Mountains, the Green Mountains and (on a clear day) Mont Royal in Quebec.
