The Tiny Vermont Town of Grafton Is The Grandest Winter Wonderland You’ll Ever Visit
While larger towns and cities in Vermont may gather the most tourists, there are a few smaller towns that fly under the radar. Grafton may not be known by all Vermonters, but it has everything to make it a town worth visiting. From fat bike trails and snowshoe excursions to live music and tasty grub, have yourself a fantastic weekend in this amazing winter wonderland.

It's nestled in the mountains and is home to many beautifully-restored historic buildings.

Founded in 1801, the historic Grafton Inn is a classic Vermont country inn full of charm. It's conveniently located on Main Street, so you can be within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The inn is also located near a number of trails and the Grafton Trails and Outdoor Center.


The Grafton Outdoor Center has an awesome hill that's perfect for downhill snow tubing fun.


If you don't have snowshoes, a pair of skis, snow tubes, or fat bikes, don't worry! The Grafton Outdoor Center has plenty of equipment available to rent.

MKT is an adorable general store near the Grafton Inn. You can grab a bite to eat and do a little bit of shopping while you're there.



The pub is located right next to the Grafton Inn making it the perfect place to stop before by before hitting the hay.
