The Governors Mansion, located at 100 Main Street in Hyde Park, was originally built in 1893 for Vermont Governor Carroll S. Page and his family.
This the original Longfellow National Historic Site. It was George Washington's headquarters for 10 months in the Revolutionary War, as well as poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's house for nearly fifty years.
