There’s A Magical Tea Garden Hiding In Vermont That Will Absolutely Enchant You

April is here, and before you know it the snow will melt and the mud will come and go. When the mud dries and everything is greening up, that’s when you’ll want to head to Perennial Pleasures Nursery in East Hardwick. Here you’ll find a nursery, greenhouse, gift shop and a magical tea garden in VT. Let’s take a look at this fantastic place that is sure to be one of your new favorite destinations in the Green Mountain State.

Welcome to Perennial Pleasures Nursery, located at 63 Brickhouse Road in East Hardwick.

You'll find over 900 varieties of plants on the property. They are also available through their online site.

Since the start, they specialized in heirloom flowering plants and herbs from the 17th, 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries.

You'll also find a wonderful selection of culinary and medicinal herbs. They also have one of the largest collections of phlox to be found anywhere in the country.

There will be daily garden tours, hundreds of blooming plants, cut flower displays and door prizes at this much anticipated event.

And just when you thought Perennial Pleasures Nursery couldn't get any better, you discover a magical tea garden.

The tea garden is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, from 12:00 to 4:00.

The a la carte menu has everything from teas and coffee to scones, cucumber sandwiches as well as cakes and pastries.

Be sure to make a stop into the gift shop, too.

You'll find everything from decorative items to tunics in this old wooden extension.

Naturally, every good tea garden has to have a great selection of hats, too!

The Perennial Pleasures Nursery as well as the gift shop will be open Tuesdays through Sundays from early May to mid-September.
