Summer Is The Perfect Time To Hike The Secluded Pease Mountain Loop In Vermont

There are hundreds of great hikes in Vermont, with many being relatively short and easy trails. Yet, it’s easy to get into the groove of only frequenting a handful of trails. The trail traverses through a shady and cool wooded area near Mt. Philo State Park.

In 1948 the University of Vermont acquired roughly 200 acres of this area from the Pease Family. And although the peak has only an elevation of 800 feet, there are plenty of sweet views present along this pleasant hike.
