Every Year Mount Snow Hosts An Hilarious Duct Tape Derby In Vermont

Just when you thought Vermont couldn’t get any quirkier, along comes a duct tape derby held at one of our state’s most famous ski slopes and resort. The Bud Light Duct Tape Derby and Sink or Swim Competition at Mount Snow is probably one of the most hilarious competitions you’ll ever witness and you may just want to make it a yearly tradition.

Mount Snow is a mountain resort and ski area that's located in the Green Mountains of southern Vermont.

Every year, the resort hosts a pretty spectacular derby.

The Bud Light Duct Tape Derby is probably the most unique and most fun derby competition out there.

Participants are challenged to make their own snow craft using only cardboard, duct tape, zip ties, and paint.

You'll be surprised at how creative these competitors can get and you won't be able to help but laugh when you see some of them.

In addition to the Duct Tape Derby, Bud Light and Mount Snow also host a "Sink or Swim" competition.

Participants of all levels are invited to try and cross a 100-foot long icy cold pond dressed in their best costumes.

If you need to take a short break, warm up in the main lodge and have a bite to eat.
