The Marvelous 2.6-Mile Trail In Vermont Leads Adventurers To A Covered Bridge

If you’re looking for an outdoor adventure that the whole family can enjoy, head to the Ottauquechee Trail in Quechee, Vermont. This out-and-back hike is just under 3 miles and will take you through different landscapes including a river, forest, field, and waterfall. Along with the views along the hike, part of the adventure includes the scenery and covered bridge at Quechee Falls waiting for you at the end of the trail.

To get started on your outing along this marvelous trail in Vermont, take 1-91 north if you’re coming from Brattleboro. You’ll need to hop on I-87 south if you’re driving from Burlington.

The Ottauquechee Trail is an easy hike that everyone in the family can enjoy any time of year.

You'll need to pick up the trailhead at the Quechee Polo field. It'll then take you through a narrow path that'll lead you to the side of the road and require a walk for about 200 yards.

You'll then pick up the trail along the river that'll take you to Quechee Falls and the covered bridge.

As long as they're on a leash, your furry friend adventurers can also join you on this hike.

Aside from the views along the trail, the covered bridge at Quechee Falls is one of the highlights of this scenic hike.

Be prepared to have your camera on hand to take shots of the waterfall too.
