Located between Bennington and Stratton in the vast Green Mountain National Forest, Grout Pond Recreation Area allows visitors year-round access to Grout Pond, the more than 10 miles of hiking trails, and the nearby Somerset Reservoir.

Kettle Pond, located in the Groton State Forest, is one of the most beautiful bodies of water in Vermont. The state park features 26 lean-tos in six different clusters, access to Kettle Pond, numerous hiking trails, and clean amenities.
