Most People Don’t Know There’s a Kayak Park Hiding In Vermont
If you’re looking for a peaceful place to paddle, or even if you have one in mind already, Clyde River Recreation is your go-to place. Located in West Charleston, Clyde River Recreation started 10 years ago and has been delighting visitors ever since. This kayak park in VT have over 150 canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and matching accessories located in a large barn just waiting for you. Whether you stick around for a few hours of paddling or spend the day in another area of Vermont, spending time on the water has never been so much fun!

You'll be driven about 6 minutes away and the staff will assist you launching in. This leisurely paddle takes about 2.5 - 3 hours and you end up right where your left your car. It couldn't be easier!

These trips can take anywhere between 5 - 8 hours and you'll travel through marshy areas, cedar bogs, fields swamp maple groves and Pensioners Pond.

Spend the night camping out under the stars on this 24 mile trip! There is a rapids section along so this is for experienced paddlers.



Popular delivery destinations include Willoughby Lake, Memphremagog, Salem Lake and Seymour Lake.
