16 Things To Do When You’re Feeling Homesick For Vermont
If you’re not in Vermont right now, well, we’re sorry about that. It’s absolute perfection at the moment. To all of you who had to leave this great state, we don’t blame you for feeling a little homesick now and then. So we’ve come up with a few things that you could do if you’re feeling homesick for VT. We hope this helps numb the pain!
1. Find something - anything - and mark it with 802.

2. Order a creemee.
Get a laugh out of the crazy looks you’ll get because no one else knows what a creemee is. Bonus points if they say "A creamy
3. Drive as far as you need to so you can see the stars.
There’s nothing quite like a sky full of stars.
4. Stick your face into the freezer aisle.
Sometimes it can feel like winter in Vermont pretty easily, if only for a moment.
5. Find the closest hill.
Look up and admire the view.
6. Make some good old fashioned comfort food with Cabot Cheddar as the main ingredient.

7. Find the next local fair.
Go to a fair, any fair. The smaller the better to make it feel like home.
8. Go for a hike.
Vermonters are outdoorsy by nature. Embrace that with a good old fashioned hike in the woods.
9. Douse some pancakes with Maple Syrup.

10. Hit up a farmers market.
Buy something freshly grown or made and have a nice chat with the farmer or baker.
11. Find a fellow Vermonter.
There’s an app for everything, right? So there’s
got to be one for that!
12. If that’s not enough, find a muddy road.
No one really ever misses mud season, right?
13. Drive over a pothole.
One bad "doh!" and you just might miss Vermont a little less.
14. Drink a VT craft beer.
