What is the scenic town in Vermont?

Choosing the most scenic town in VT is not an easy feat, being at though so many of them are gorgeous. In Windsor County, there’s Chester. This town has not one, but two historic districts within its nearly 56 square miles and both are also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Make sure you check out both Stone Village Historic District and the Chester Village Historic District when you visit to see why. The cute town in VT is also dotted with quaint shops, galleries, eateries, and accommodations, with the beautiful Williams River running through it.

What are the best waterparks in Vermont?

Vermont is certainly not known for its waterparks. But Vermont ski resorts are definitely a thing. But what to do at a ski resort when there isn’t any snow on the ground? Water park! Over in Jay, there is Jay Peak Resort and its 50,000-square-foot Pump House indoor waterpark. Here, you’ll find plenty of slides, pools, a FlowRider, lazy river, and more.  In Peru, there’s Mountain Adventure Park, which is part of the ski resort at Bromley Mountain. While this place is not very big, there are slides and bumper boats. You’ll also find some dry rides like the Giant Swing and Space Bikes.

Sure, there are probably a ton of really great ice cream shops in Vermont, offering up a variety of delicious frozen treats. But you cannot talk about Vermont and ice cream without mentioning Ben & Jerry’s. Not only was the ice cream first made in Burlington in 1978, but in Vermont, you can visit some of their shops in Manchester and Jeffersonville as well as their factory in Waterbury, another unique town in VT.
