Choosing the most scenic town in VT is not an easy feat, being at though so many of them are gorgeous. In Windsor County, there’s Chester. This town has not one, but two historic districts within its nearly 56 square miles and both are also listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Make sure you check out both Stone Village Historic District and the Chester Village Historic District when you visit to see why. The cute town in VT is also dotted with quaint shops, galleries, eateries, and accommodations, with the beautiful Williams River running through it.
