To start things off easy, this short 1.6-mile hike around Aldis Hill is a scenic way to start the day. Looping around the hill, this path will take you in and around overlooks of the lake, rock formations, and the beauty of walking through a forest for a little while. Saint Albans is a stunning area of Vermont, but there's a special beauty out at the 162-acre Saint Albans Town Forest that should be appreciated. Last but not least on this list is a rail trail that can last all day if you have the stamina. The Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail should take a while to finish, coming in at 26.5 miles long. Most visitors just take it a few miles at a time by bike and return another day to explore it section by section. With an average time of 8 hours to complete, biking it in sections is probably your best bet.
