Take This Epic Road Trip To Experience Vermont’s Great Outdoors
The sun is shining, so why not take a trip and see nature at its finest? This great outdoors road trip in VT is the perfect way to get outside, but don’t worry, nothing is too strenuous. We need some time to work up our summer hiking muscles first!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. You don't need to hike to the top of Mt. Mansfield to get to the highest point in Vermont. Take a drive up the toll road which opens May 26, 2018 and take in some incredible views from 4,395 feet up.

Take a ride or a stroll along the Colchester Causeway. With the beautiful Lake Champlain on either side, you'll feel like you're gliding right on the water.

Head over to Mt. Philo State Park which is a favorite spot for hikers, picnickers and campers alike. You'll find stunning views of the Lake Champlain Valley and New York’s Adirondack Mountains from the lookouts.

You don't need to go for a big hike to see Moss Glen Falls in Granville. This can be seen right from the road, or you can walk in for a closer look if you've got the time.

Make a stop at the The Nature Conservancy in Vermont to mix a little science with nature. You'll love all the wildlife there!

Head over to Bromley Mountain for some outdoor adventures. Whether you zoom on the zip line or take a ride on the mountain coaster, fresh air has never been so thrilling!

Start or end your trip with the 100 mile view at Hogback Mountain Gift Shop and observation deck. It's an easy stop and the views go on for miles and miles. Be sure to have a few quarters handy for a closer look!
