This cave has about 1,800 feet of passages to explore. Veteran cavers will be right at home here as making your way through much of the cave system involves shimmying along on your belly and back. Venturing into the cave itself isn’t an excursion for the claustrophobic or anyone spooked by the dark, but it is really rewarding.

When you finally navigate the cave’s tight spaces, you’ll find yourself in a series of large "rooms" that offer passages leading to different areas of the cave. You’ll really feel like you’ve entered another dimension.

If you plan on heading into the cave, you should definitely wear a helmet and absolutely not go alone, especially if you haven’t been caving before. You can easily spend three or four hours exploring the cave and the surrounding woodland, so be sure to pack snacks and supplies.
