The Calvin Coolidge Homestead hasn’t changed much since the mid-19th century. Having been the birthplace and childhood home of the 30th President of the United States, the Coolidge Homestead District has been preserved exceptionally well through the decades. Located in Plymouth Notch in southern Vermont, the bucolic county offers visitors a chance to reminisce about the past and witness the old and unchanged beauty of what life was like in Plymouth Notch.

On July 4, 1872, Calvin Coolidge was born in this small colonial townhouse. Coolidge was raised in Plymouth Notch for the first 15 years of his life before heading off to Black River Academy in Ludlow, Vermont.
