Hike Straight To The Beautiful Bingham Falls In Vermont Along The Bingham Falls Trail
Waterfalls are some of nature’s most impressive gems. The rushing cascades and swirling pools of this one can be found in a pretty Vermont forest on the other side of an easy hike. Here’s how to reach this gorgeous waterfall without too much effort.
If you’re looking for an easy, breezy hike that with a great payoff, this is the one. The Bingham Falls trail in Stowe will take you straight to a beautiful waterfall.
Located in Smugglers’ Notch State Park, the Bingham Falls trail is a quick one. Just 0.5 miles of hiking will deliver you right to the falls.
The trail leading to the falls is mostly flat or downhill and clear, so even novice hikers and smaller children will be able to handle the trek. You’ll also get to go over a little bridge, which is always fun.
Once you reach the falls, prepare to be wowed. The rushing water and clear blue hue of the pool below is definitely worthy of a photo or two.
You can swim here in the summer, though plan on arriving early to beat the crowds. You should also be sure to supervise any children or pets near the falls.
Dogs are welcome to tackle this trail with their owners, but should be kept on-leash. Prepare for a bit of an uphill journey on the way back, but nothing too strenuous.
