The Dummerston Apple Pie Festival In Vermont Will Put You In The Mood For Fall
Who doesn’t love a steaming slice of apple pie? This awesome early fall festival in Vermont is just the thing to put you in the mood for cooler days and apple treats. Here’s what you need to know about this fun seasonal event.
When the leaves start to crunch underfoot and you smell wood smoke in the air, you’ll know it’s almost time for the Dummerston Apple Pie Festival.
This awesome fall festival in Vermont is all about celebrating the season’s tastiest treat: apple pie. There are so many pies at this festival that you’ll hardly know where to start
Just how many pies? Try 1,500! All the pies are homemade and sold whole or by the slice.
You’ll also be able to dig into homemade ice cream, fresh doughnuts, and hot apple cider. Don’t forget to pair all that apple goodness with a hunk of real Vermont cheddar cheese!
The festival kicks off in the morning with the Fireman’s Pancake Breakfast and also includes a craft fair. If you’re looking to get a head start on your holiday shopping (it’s closer than you think!), then this is just the place.
There’s no admission charge, so the whole family can attend. Some vendors may not accept cards, so bring some spare cash just in case.
The event will be held on Sunday, October 13, rain or shine. It’s a true community event, so bring your best Vermont pride and your sweet tooth!
