Step Right Back In Time At This Wild West Park In Utah
Spring is here and it’s time to gather up the kids and get outside for some fresh air. Here’s a fun park in West Jordan that will take you right back to the 1800s.
Veterans Memorial Park in West Jordan has several cool playgrounds where kids can burn off some energy and get some fresh air. But by far the best playground is this one with a western theme.
Veteran's Memorial Park is located at 1985 W. 7800 S., West Jordan.
This adorable playground looks like a western town from the 1800s.
Kids will not only enjoy physical play here; they'll have a blast using their imaginations as they play in the various shops and buildings.
Pretend like you're crossing the plains on a stagecoach, or imagine what it was like to travel in a covered wagon.
In addition to all the western-style buildings and boardwalks, your kids will also find several slides, swings and other equipment to challenge their balance and coordination.
There's plenty to explore at this large playground, so you'll want to allow at least a few hours for your visit.
Bring a picnic lunch so that you can stay all afternoon. Spread out on the grass outside the playground, or use the nearby pavilion.
