While there’s nothing quite like a juicy burger or a steak, sometimes you just want something a little … unique. At Cravings Bistro in Pleasant Grove, that’s exactly what you will find. This delicious restaurant is home to some of the wackiest, yet tastiest dishes in Utah Valley. It is one place to eat in Utah you’ll want to revisit so you can try each of the unique creations on the menu.
You’ll find Cravings Bistro tucked away in a brick building on West Center Street in Pleasant Grove. In fact, you might just pass it by if you didn’t know it was there.
However, when you walk inside, you’ll be greeted with a bright and colorful interior and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a meal. This is the type of restaurant where you certainly won’t feel rushed and you’ll feel welcome the minute you walk through the front door.
Cravings Bistro specializes in grilled cheese sandwiches. However, these aren’t your mom’s basic sandwiches with a slice of cheese between two pieces of bread. No, these are gourmet sandwiches and some of the creations are quite unique.
For example, try the ABC. This grilled cheese sandwich features Granny Smith apple slices, candied bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese. Then, a caramelized red onion mayo is spread on grilled garlic French bread.
How about the jalapeno popper bite sandwich? This unique sandwich is made with sliced jalapeno poppers, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese. The sandwich is grilled on garlic French bread and served with a side of sweet chili jelly.
This specialty sandwich is made with four-cheese macaroni and topped with cheddar cheese, shredded pork, and a homemade sweet barbecue sauce.
While grilled cheese sandwiches are the specialty at Cravings Bistro, you will also find items like soup and salads on the menu. Basically, no matter what you choose at this restaurant, your taste buds will thank you.
The grilled s'more is essentially a French bread sandwich with Nutella, marshmallow cream, melted milk chocolate chips, strawberries, and powdered sugar. Heavenly, right?
