The Strawberry Days Festival In Utah Is About The Sweetest Event You Can Experience
Pleasant Grove’s Strawberry Days is one event that has stood the test of time and has become one of the sweetest festivals in Utah. This week-long event is not only one of the longest-running celebrations in Utah, but it is also one of the best. With a parade, carnival, concerts, and of course, lots of strawberries, Strawberry Days in Utah is one sweet experience.
Pleasant Grove’s Strawberry Days will take place June 11-19, 2022. This Utah celebration has been putting a smile on Utahns' faces for more than 100 years, making it one of the longest-running events in the Beehive State.
You can kick off the annual event at the Fireman’s breakfast. Here, you can fill your stomach with delicious pancakes and other breakfast foods at the fire station.
During this single event, you can admire dozens of classic and exotic cars. You can also shop at the numerous food vendors and place a bid on several auction items. The auction is to raise money for the Pleasant Grove Police Department’s K-9 Unit.
Throughout the week, you can participate in family-friendly activities such as a children’s parade, pickleball tournaments, pie-eating contests, and so much more.
Make sure to stop by the carnival at Downtown Park. Here, you will find rides and vendors that will keep you busy all day. The carnival typically lasts for multiple days and you’ll want to check the event’s schedule for specific days and hours.
Utahns of all ages look forward to the parade each year. This parade showcases dozens of remarkable floats, bands, and dancers from all around the city.
The rodeo will be held June 15 to June 18, 2022. The Strawberry Days Rodeo first began in 1921, making it the longest continually-running rodeo in Utah.
And of course, Strawberry Days in Utah wouldn’t be complete without lots of strawberries! You will find strawberry treats all throughout the festival like strawberry cakes, donuts, and strawberries and cream.
