Lagoon has been giving individuals a thrill in the Beehive State since 1886 when it first opened near the Great Salt Lake. At that time, a handful of activities were offered such as water sports, target shooting, and bowling.
After several years, the park moved to its current location in Farmington and many rides were built including Lagoon’s Roller Coaster, one of the oldest operating wooden rollercoasters in the world!
Today, Lagoon is the perfect summer day trip destination in Utah for every member of the family. Adults and children alike will enjoy a variety of rides like the beautiful and nostalgic Merry-Go-Round.
During this ride, you will ascend more than 200 feet and then plunge 116 degrees into an underground tunnel. This ride reaches speeds up to 70 miles per hour and features both a 140-foot-tall inverted loop and a water feature.
In 1989, Lagoon-A-Beach Water Park was built to add even more excitement to this incredible amusement park. This area of the park is six acres and features an assortment of slides, pools, and adventures.
Get your heart pumping as you soar down the slides. There are tube, body, and drop slides available, providing options for thrill seekers and those who like to play it safe.
