Tibble Fork Reservoir is one of the lesser-known lakes in Utah. This body of water is located up American Fork Canyon and is the perfect place to go fishing, camping, and even hiking. The Tibble Fork Loop Trail is one of the hiking trails in the area and will surround you with Utah’s natural beauty the minute you step foot on the trail. While not an easy journey, you’ll capture unique views of Tibble Fork Reservoir, walk through large meadows, and enjoy mountain landscapes. It’s an excellent way to spend an afternoon.

Tibble Fork Reservoir is one of the freshwater lakes in the area and is a popular place for fishing, swimming, and cooling off on a hot summer’s day.

The Tibble Fork Loop Trail begins at the reservoir. You’ll find the trailhead on the east end of the main parking lot for Tibble Fork.
This is a 4.6-mile loop trail that can be quite challenging, especially for younger children and beginner hikers. For the first several miles of this hike, you will have a steady incline to conquer. If you complete this trail in its entirety, you will climb more than 1,000 feet in elevation.
