Thompson's Smokehouse is a family-owned business that got started back in 1980. You'll find it in the little town of Erda in Tooele County.

It's a bit of a drive to get here, but you'll soon find that it's worth your time.
The fresh jerky here is all made from the the "eye of the round" cuts of beef. It's incredibly tender, and high-quality. This isn't the hard, dried-out jerky you get at the grocery store.
