This Swimming Spot Has The Clearest, Most Pristine Water In Utah
Utah’s waters are all pretty clear and pristine (nasty algae bloom outbreaks aside). If you’re looking for a beautiful swimming spot to visit before school starts in a few weeks, give Bear Lake a try. Its waters are not only clear, clean and pristine…they’re downright stunning. The lake covers about 112 square miles - and each state has almost exactly half.

Apparently, even dogs can appreciate this gorgeous place!

The beach just got some new amenities for the 2016 season. Beach goers enjoy two new restrooms, new campsites and a new group use pavilion.

Put those chairs right in the water and cool off! The temperature of the lake was 68.5 degrees on August 15th, as reported by park rangers on the Bear Lake Facebook page.


Scuba divers usually dive off Cisco Beach, where the steep drop off is conducive to diving.
