It’s so hot in Utah during the summer months…don’t you wish you had a backyard pool? For some Utahns, an in-ground pool is possible…but no one in Utah has a pool like this one in Springville, which was featured in an episode of The Pool Master on Animal Planet.
This pool cost $2 million to build. It’s so amazing that it even has a name: The Mountain. The most prominent feature of the pool is a 90-foot-tall, man-made mountain.
You can traverse two bridges and pathways to get to the top.

There’s also a hidden water slide that tunnels 60 feet THROUGH the mountain to the pool!

The pool includes FIVE waterfalls.
The tallest is 20 feet tall, and processes 3,000 gallons water per minute. It’s pretty high up there, but the pool is deep enough that you can dive right in!

Inside the mountain, caves and tunnels allow you to explore and enjoy the many waterfalls.

The pool itself is 140 feet long 60 feet wide. It holds 360,000 gallons of water.
A 300-foot lazy river goes around the perimeter.
The pool also holds a secret: a special tunnel made just for scuba divers. From inside the mountain, you access a 54 foot long, underwater tunnel that allows you to scuba in water that is 26-feet deep.
