If you’ve lived in Utah very long, then you know that Utah has the best snow in the world. Skiers and boarders across the state are waiting anxiously for the snow…and the opening weekend at our amazing resorts. Of course, ski season doesn’t usually get into full swing until the end of November, which is still a couple months away. AND…though this may seem crazy to those who do ski or board…not every Utahn is a skier or snowboarder. It’s true.
Here’s the thing: you don’t have to ski or board to love Utah’s ski resorts. Believe it or not, they offer much more than just amazing powder.

If you haven't ever been to Snowbird's Oktoberfest, you're missing out! You don't even have to be a beer drinker to enjoy this festival that includes tons of activities, live music, performances and more.

The alpine atmosphere is perfect for wildflower viewing - year round!

Why not dine with a view like this? Pictured is The Aerie at Snowbird, but you can't go wrong with any of the resorts' restaurants. Some are open year round.
