The company offers tours Monday through Saturday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.. This vintage tour is led by a wonderful tour guide dressed in an old-fashioned conductor's uniform.
Your trolley tour starts at the Temple Square Family History Library, then proceeds to several LDS Church sites, including the This Is The Place Monument, which marks the spot where Brigham Young stood looking over the valley to proclaim, "This is the right place."
Of course, the LDS Church isn't the only religion in the city, and you'll catch a glimpse of other churches and cathedrals too, such as the Cathedral Church of St. Mark and the Cathedral of the Madeleine.
Check out some of Salt Lake's historic mansions, like the Deveraux Mansion. This beautiful home was built in 1857, then later purchased by William Jennings, Salt Lake's first millionaire.
Other stops on the 90-minute-long tour include the Union Pacific Depot, the Salt Lake City and County Building, and Trolley Square. This tour is perfect for all ages, and it's great if you have out-of-town visitors who want to get a good look at Salt Lake City.
