Utah Lake covers 95,000 square acres in Utah County, and it’s a great spot for all kinds of recreation: fishing, boating, swimming, and paddling in kayaks and canoes.
Lindon Marina offers all the toys you can imagine for a day of fun in the water. Take a look:
Lindon Marina is located on the east side of the lake. Drivers along I-15 can take the Pleasant Grove exit to reach it.
The marina has a huge array of rental equipment available. Choose from kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, row boats, and sail boats. In the early part of the season, there's no need to reserve your toys in advance; there are plenty available.
Later in the summer, you might want to visit the website to book a reservation to ensure that a kayak or paddleboard is available. On Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the marina has a special where you can rent a paddleboard, kayak, canoe, row boat, or small sailboat for just $15 per person.
Kids of all ages will enjoy paddling, splashing, and playing in the water. Make sure to bring their life jackets and some water shoes so they can play safely.
Or, just hang out on the sandy beach and enjoy the scenery. There's plenty of space for beach chairs and sandcastles. Bring a picnic and make it a fun day for the family!
Lindon Marina sponsors several events throughout the year, including Light the Lantern, and Movie on the Water, where you can sit in your kayak on the lake and watch a movie on a huge screen!
