This Festival In Utah’s Mountains Is One You’ll Never Forget
Every fall, Snowbird resort hosts one of Utah’s best festivals. Oktoberfest runs from August 12th through October 15th, and it’s fun for the whole family.
There's no doubt about it...Snowbird is gorgeous in the summer and fall.
It's the perfect time of year for a festival in the mountains, and Oktoberfest is in full swing.
You'll often find tons of wildflowers at Snowbird during Oktoberfest.

Enjoy free concerts throughout the day
You can also hear the Alp horns at 3:15 PM, atop Hidden Peak.
Take the scenic tram up to Hidden Peak. You'll see some incredible views of the canyon along the way. Either ride the tram back down, or take the hike to the bottom.
There are tons of family-friendly activities during the festival.
You can ride the Alpine Slide, Mountain Coaster and Zipline. Play on the bungee trampoline and in the kids inflatables, and try out the climbing wall.
Watch traditional German dancing, and even join in!
Head to Oktoberfest Halle where you can grab a tasty German meal and enjoy live entertainment from noon to 6 PM.
And of course, there's plenty of beer throughout the festival.
Oktoberfest runs every Saturday and Sunday through October 15th from noon to 6:30 PM. For more information, see the
Oktoberfest Program here.
Have you attended Oktoberfest yet this year? We’d love to hear the highlights of your trip!
