The Natural Preserve In Utah That Will Blow You Away With Its Beauty

Utah’s natural beauty is unparalleled, and you’ll find several places in the Beehive State that celebrate and preserve natural spaces for all to enjoy. Take a look at this natural preserve in Ogden, and plan a visit soon!

Ogden Nature Center is located at 966 W. 12th Street in Ogden.

This nature center is full of spots to explore.

Check out the tadpole pond! Walk along the boardwalk, and you'll be able to peer right into the pond to see tadpoles and frogs.

"Climb" the treehouse at Dumke Picnic Grove. It's ADA-accessible for everyone to enjoy. At the top, you'll find binoculars for wildlife viewing, along with a great view of the Wasatch mountains. It's the perfect spot to enjoy your picnic.

Arrowhead Pond is a quiet spot to observe wildlife. You'll likely see ducks, cormorants and herons, along with turtles sunning themselves on rocks and logs.

The Habitat Trail is an interpretive trail that takes you past several types of habitats including upland, wetland, riparian and aquatic.

Every year, the center hosts a bird house contest. Many of the winners stay here to provide homes for resident birds.

You'll see more than 100 bird houses along the Bird House Trail...

... and of course, you'll see plenty of birds, too.

Stop by The Nest Gift Shop, where you'll find tons of great gift ideas for the nature lover in your life.

Visit Ogden Nature Center Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission for adults is just $5; children 12 and younger pay $3. Seniors enjoy a reduced admission of $4.
