Looking for a tasty meal in Moab?
Once you see this sign, you know you've found the spot!
Milt Galbraith opened Milt's Stop & Eat in September of 1954.
It's Moab's oldest restaurant, and it still serves customers today.
You can't get any fast food at Milt's - everything here is made to order, from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
The burgers are hand-pressed and come from grass-fed beef that's locally raised.
These burgers are unlike anything you've ever tasted.
The bacon cheeseburger is delicious.
Milt's chili is legendary.
The chili-cheeseburger is the most popular menu item here, and you'll need a fork to eat it!
The fries at Milt's are pretty popular, too.
They're cut from whole russet potatoes and fried up fresh.
Change it up a little with a side of tater tots.
They're perfectly crispy on the outside and deliciously tender on the inside. And they're served with a side of fry sauce, too.
Make sure you save room for one of Milt's old-fashioned shakes.
The shakes are made from fresh milk purchased from McClish Family Dairy.
Milt's is pretty much unchanged since it opened in 1954.
The bar stools and Formica counter are original.
While the inside dining area is quite small, there's plenty of outdoor patio seating.
Milt's is an integral part of the community in Moab. It's the place to go to meet up with friends, enjoy a burger and hear the latest news.
The tree outside is a Moab icon.
It provides welcome shade on a hot, summer day.
Milt's is located at 356 Millcreek Drive in Moab.
Dine here Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 am to close.
