The Old-Fashioned Utah Burger Joint Where Car Hops Still Take Your Order

There’s nothing we love more than an old-fashioned drive-in restaurant that serves up tasty burgers, fries, and shakes. Utah has tons of these little burger joints, and some have been in business for decades. There’s one drive-in up in Ogden that still has car service..with real car hops! Check out Kirt’s Family Drive-Inn:

Kirt's has a small dining room, so if you feel like going in and eating at a table, it's certainly an option.

But why would you want to do that, when you can get car hop service outside? It's just like going back to your childhood. Pull up under the awning, take a look at the menu board, and order your food through the speaker.

Once they've made your food (and it does take a minute because it's all made to order), a car hop will bring it right out to you.

Visit Kirt's Drive-Inn Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday until 10:30 p.m. The drive in is closed on Sundays.
