This Charming Cottage In Utah Is Actually A Bookstore And We Can’t Get Enough
As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
When you’re looking for something new to read, you have lots of choices. You can order a book online from that huge mega-website that we certainly won’t name here, or you can swing by that huge national chain bookstore, which we also will not name here.
But why oh why would you buy a book from one of those places when you can visit a bookshop where the folks inside not only love to read, but can offer you tons of great recommendations to help you find the perfect book for you? You need to head to The King’s English Bookshop. Take a look:
From the moment you see The King's English Bookshop, you'll be charmed with its quaint exterior. This little bungalow was transformed into a bookshop in 1977, and you'll find it in Sugarhouse at 1511 S. 1500 E., Salt Lake City, UT 84105.
This bookshop is a far cry from any national chain store. The folks here (including co-owner Betsy Burton, shown here) all love to read, and they're passionate about books.
Whether you're looking for something new to read, or shopping for a book to give as a gift, the staff here can help you find just what you're looking for.
In addition to all the fiction and non-fiction you could ever read in a lifetime, this shop is full of little treasures like special copies signed by authors that you love, and there are tons of other gifts for book-lovers, too.
Visit the King’s English Bookshop website to learn more about this charming little shop, and make sure to follow the its Facebook page so you can see which of your favorite authors might be visiting soon. Who’s your favorite reader? Tag him or her in the comments!
