The little town of Richfield is a little hub in south-central Utah. Located along I-70, and bordering the beautiful Fishlake National Forest, this quaint little town was founded in 1871. Fremont people inhabited the area as long as 7,000 years ago (many artifacts still remain in the area). Today, this vibrant, bustling town is a cultural center that provides shopping, entertainment and services to its 7,500 residents, and many neighboring communities. Have you visited Richfield lately?
As you approach Richfield on I-70, you can already see how charming it is. You should definitely drive through town for a closer look.
Main street still has much of its historic architecture. Some businesses have been here for decades; others are new businesses, maintaining a bit of Richfield's history.
The Richfield Carnegie Library was built in 1913. It's one of over 1,500 such libraries across the nation. Richfield's, however, is the only one built in the Craftsman style.
