Hole N’ the Rock is definitely one of the weirdest spots you’ll ever go in your life. And we mean that in the best way, of course.
Over a period of twenty years, the family dug out a comfortable space for themselves within the living rock. The home opened for tours in the 1950s and has been drawing crowds ever since.
Today, Hole N’ the Rock is a fun spot to visit and explore. For just $6.50 per person, you can tour the inside of the family home and see how the Christensons lived.
Rub elbows (though unfortunately, not literally) with zebras, camels, bison, and other exotic creatures you wouldn’t expect to find hanging out at a roadside attraction.
The area outside the rock house is a work of art in its own right. Vintage decor, retro neon signs, and artwork inspired by the desert makes for a great backdrop for photos.
And of course, you can’t leave without getting a shot in front of the attraction’s iconic “Hole N’’ the Rock” lettering. Yes, the punctuation marks are incorrect, but the owners opted to keep the original formatting to honor the Christensons’ legacy.
