Heber Valley Railroad’s Pumpkin Train Is A Family Favorite Every Fall In Utah

If you’re looking for a fun family activity this fall, head to the little town of Heber to climb aboard the Heber Valley Railroad’s Pumpkin Train. You’ll enjoy beautiful fall foliage, nibble on a pumpkin cookie, then visit the pumpkin patch to choose a pumpkin for your porch!

All aboard the Pumpkin Train! When the temperature starts to drop and the leaves turn vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow, you know it's time to get your tickets for a fun fall train ride.

Your Pumpkin Train adventure starts at the train depot in Heber City. This train leaves the station right on time, so make sure to arrive about 30 minutes before departure.

For the next 40 minutes, you'll enjoy a fun-filled train ride that will carry you across a landscape filled will fall foliage.

The beautiful scenery is just the beginning!

Costumed witches and other characters will entertain you during the ride, and you'll enjoy a freshly-baked pumpkin cookie while you play games and look out the windows.

Kids of all ages love this train ride. Wear your Halloween costume or a fun fall outfit to make the adventure even more festive.

When you return to the train depot, you'll want to visit the Pumpkin Patch, where you can choose your Halloween pumpkin. It's included in the price of your ticket.

You'll also want to pay a visit to the Old Haunted Train Car at the depot for some spine-chilling fun.

In 2020, the Pumpkin Train offers rides from October 1st through the 30th. Trains depart on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
