Southern Utah is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. From its natural arches and red rocks to unique desert landscapes and crystal-blue lakes, there truly is something for everyone. I grew up in this part of the state and each time I return, I am always amazed at its beauty and the multitude of outdoor adventures and activities in Utah. That’s why I want to share some of my favorite places all within a short distance of one another. Featuring a waterfall hike, glampground, unique state park, and lesser-known reservoir, this two-day itinerary is just one more way to explore southern Utah and fall in love with the Beehive State.

From national parks and campgrounds to waterfalls, canyons, and more, there is so much to love about America’s natural splendor — and June, designated as Great Outdoors Month, is the perfect time to get outside.
