The Mouthwatering Sandwich Shop Hiding In Utah You’ll Love Supporting
Where do you head when it’s lunchtime? A local sandwich shop is always a great choice, but this one in particular is even better. Not only are the sandwiches unique and delicious, but every time you eat here, you’re helping feed others, too!
Even Stevens opened its first sandwich shop at 200 S. 414 E. in Salt Lake City, in June of 2014.
Within just six months, the first location had donated more than 30,000 sandwiches. From there, the concept exploded. Even Stevens has expanded to include four Utah locations, a restaurant in Boise, Idaho and several in Arizona.
So basically, every time you eat here, you're donating to a local charity. But don't worry...it's not like you're really sacrificing or anything. Because the food? Is soooo amazing.
The sandwiches here aren't your typical sub sandwich fare. These suckers are gourmet. The Capreezy Sandwich has fresh mozzarella, roasted hazelnut pesto, arugula, tomatoes and a balsamic glaze.
As of May 15, 2017, Even Stevens has donated 1,345,004 sandwiches to local charities! Visit one of their Utah locations in Downtown Salt Lake City, Sugarhouse, Draper and Saint George. Check out their website for more information and a full menu.
My favorite items on Even Stevens’ menu is the Do Gouda. What’s yours?
