The best dining experiences not only provide a delicious meal but offer something unique — an experience that you will always remember. The Viking Yurt at Park City Mountain Resort certainly offers a dining adventure unlike anything else you will find in Utah. Not only will you dine 8,700 feet up a mountain and in a yurt, but you will reach the restaurant on a sleigh. As we said — it’s unforgettable.

Your night will begin with a 23-minute sleigh ride that takes you up the mountain. You’ll want to bundle up for the brisk ride but you'll also have the views of the night sky, trees, city lights, and mountains to distract you.
The sleigh will drop you off at the heated Viking Yurt on Park City Mountain. Here, you’ll be greeted with a warm fire, a rustic atmosphere, and soft music playing in the background. You can also enjoy a cup of glogg, a hot, non-alcoholic berry drink with just the perfect amount of spices.
The Viking Yurt provides a six-course gourmet dinner that will delight your taste buds. The meal will include soup, salad, and a sorbet palate cleanser that will prepare you for the upcoming entree.
Your meal features an entrée, complete with vegetables, potatoes, and more. You will also enjoy a selection of cheese and fruit that is served on an aspen slab.
Alcoholic services are available at the yurt, and coffee and tea are offered during dessert time only.
The dining experience at the Viking Yurt is only available from December to March each year. You will need to make reservations in advance as only 34 people are seated nightly in the yurt.
